We are passionate about lingerie

The concept of opening a specialised lingerie business developed years ago, when the owner, Céline, through her own experience found that she just couldn’t find bras that fitted.

Every bra shopping experience ended in frustration with either the bras not giving the support she was looking for or they were just really old fashioned and dull.

Having trained and gained experience in the lingerie industry, in the UK, Céline decided that it was about time women, especially larger breasted ladies, also had the choice to buy not only great fitting, comfortable bras, but also beautiful and elegant lingerie.

At Bravacious, we’re passionate about lingerie and we want women to be proud of their bodies, regardless of their shape, and especially if they are gifted with large boobs.  Say goodbye to unsupportive, unfashionable bras and hello to gorgeous lingerie you won’t want to take off.

Why it’s so important

to wear the right size bra.

Availability and Pricing

When placing an order with Bravacious customers are seeking to enter into a contract with Bravacious. Our products are sourced from countries outside of South Africa and can therefore take up to 8 weeks to arrive. Should we need to order your item from our suppliers the customer will be provided with an estimated dispatch date. Bravacious will endeavour to meet that estimated dispatch date, but certain circumstances are beyond our control. It is for that reason that we cannot guarantee a dispatch or arrival date. Customers will be informed by a member of staff from Bravacious as soon as this date cannot be met. As our products are imported from overseas, prices are subject to exchange rate fluctuations. For this reason, prices may increase without notice.

Orders

Should a customer wish to purchase an item that we do not have in stock, they will be requested to pay a non-refundable deposit. By paying the deposit, the customer acknowledges that they wish to purchase the item and that the item is being ordered specifically for them. Bravacious will endeavour to provide the item to the customer within the time frame specified. However, there will be times that the item is either sold out or currently out of stock at the supplier. Should this be the case, we will contact the customer as soon as possible to inform them. At this point, the customer may choose to either wait for that item to come back into stock with the supplier or replace their order with an alternative product. Please be aware that once the order has been paid for at the supplier, the customer will be obligated to proceed with the purchase.

Payment via EFT

Customers wishing to pay via EFT are to note that no goods will leave the Bravacious premises until the funds are available in our account. Unfortunately due to high incidents of fraud, proof of payment will no longer be deemed acceptable.

Sales

From time to time, Bravacious will run sales. These sales will be subject to Terms and Conditions, which will be available in writing. Sale items will not be made available at the reduced price once the sale period is over. Sale items will need to be collected, or will incur a delivery fee, which the customer will be responsible for paying.

Customs

Products purchased from international suppliers are subjected to Custom Duty. The turn-around time at Customs is usually quite fast, but at peak times or public holidays, it may take longer for Bravacious to receive the shipment. Unfortunately it is out of the control of Bravacious in regards to the time it takes Customs to process and release the goods. Customers outside of South Africa, wishing to purchase from Bravacious, may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges will be the responsibility of the recipient as we do not have control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary from country to country, so customers should contact their local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from Bravacious, the recipient is considered the importer and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which the goods are received. We would like our international customers to be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

Returns

Should a product be faulty or defective the customer has 6 months, from the date of receiving the product, to return the product. After 6 months, it will be at the discretion of Bravacious if we will accept the faulty product and offer either a refund or exchange. Customers who order a product in the wrong size need to inform Bravacious on delivery, of the incorrect size. Customers will have 5 days to return the product for an exchange. Items without their labels in-tact or available will not be accepted. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

Events beyond our reasonable control

We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these Terms & Conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

Alteration of Service or Amendments to the Conditions

We reserve the right to make changes to our website, policies, and these Terms & Conditions at any time. Customers will be subject to the Terms & Conditions in force at the time that they use the website or that they order goods from us, unless any change to those policies or these conditions is required to be made by law or government authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by a customer). If any of these conditions are deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
